WIL has been helping immigrants and newcomers to London find work since 1984. We offer a full range of employment programs and services specifically tailored to meet the needs of immigrants and newcomers.
Every client receives the support and assistance of their own Employment Counsellor to ensure individual needs and challenges are both identified and met. WIL's Employment Counsellors work with clients to develop a personal action plan to achieve individual employment and career goals.
Some of WIL's most popular programs for immigrants and newcomers include our Employment Preparation Program, Volunteer Work Placements and the Mentorship for Newcomer Success Program. WIL is also the managing partner for the Access Centre for Regulated Employment which provides information and licensure application assistance for newcomers seeking careers in Ontario's 35 regulated professions.
In addition, WIL manages Skills International - the only website of its kind that matches pre-screened internationally trained individuals with employers seeking their skills. All graduates of WIL's Employment Preparation Program are profiled on Skills International to facilitate connections with employers.
If you are currently unemployed and seeking work, there is no fee to access our programs and services.
